The famous Russian historian, bibliographer and writer Felix Moiseevich Lurye has died in St. Petersburg at the age of 94, the Vita Nova publishing house reported. The scientist had collaborated with him for many years. The cause of death was not indicated.

Felix Lurye was born on August 14, 1931 in Leningrad. From 1945, he worked at a plant and construction sites, combining work with studying at an evening school. Later, he entered the Mining Institute. Since 1956, his professional activity was associated with the construction of underground structures in the Kaluga Region and Leningrad, as well as the design and testing of metal structures. After defending his dissertation, Lurye taught at the Mining Institute, simultaneously deeply studying the history of Russia and Italy. He wrote 46 books and more than 150 scientific articles.
